8/9/13 Walton continues to improve.  Fastball may not jump off of the page (77mph) but this lefty throws strikes.  Arm works well.  Best suited for a smaller school or perhaps a JUCO.  Walton is one to follow for next spring to see if his velocity will make the necessary jump.  Throws plenty of strikes and competes well.

6/19/12 Walton is a young LHP/1B in the 2014 recruiting class. A late bloomer that has more room to grow, Walton has the gift of being lefthanded. His fastball sat 74-75 MPH and cut at times. His breaking ball had some downward sweep and sat at 64 MPH consistently. From the plate he used the whole field and had a level swing path.
