Behind the plate, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 78 mph; had a quick clean transfer, consistent in control footwork, and soft hands. had consistent pop times of 2.05-2.15. Some flexibility and athletic quiet setup. (Max spin 2284; Avg 2129).

Ty Jenkins: C/RHP, (2024) SH Stevenson, MI. 5-foot-9, 150-pound. Fluid in the box, Jenkins recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph. Starts in a tall stance with a compact load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is efficient, displays an an inside-out swing plane and good extension on his finish. Created some loud contact and found some barrels. Opposite field approach. While catching, throw downs to second topped out at 70 mph. While catching, he produced a position velocity of 70 mph during throw downs; Consistently had pop times of 2.12-2.19. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.91. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed with a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. He has even shoulders and a tall balance point. Has a clean finish. Threw his fastball 71-74 mph and topped out at 76 mph; shows decent command and slight running action with straight movement. He shows gradual action and consistent command on his 12/6 curveball (61-64). His flat changeup (69-70) has fading action and low in the zone command.
