2028 RHP/1B Major MacNeil continues to grow and sprout upwards, now standing at 6-foot-2, 155-pounds. There’s plenty to project with the young right-hander as he continues to develop/mature with the fastball already sitting in the 78-80mph range. The offspeed stuff is still developing and the Barrie Baycats prospect featured three different pitches; a curveball at 66-67mph, changeup at 69-74mph and splitter at 69-70mph. MacNeil has developed well over the past year and it’ll be interesting to see if that trend continues when we see him next.
