St. Thomas commit. A high-waisted, wiry 6-foot, 170-pound frame, Langin was dominant on the mound Saturday afternoon. The right-hander tossed four innings, allowing one earned run, on three hits and one walk, while striking out eight. A fluid high knee tuck motion, working down hill on a line, Langin was working with a solid two-pitch mix. The fastball sat 85-88 mph with 2300-2400 RPM, and was thrown alongside a curveball that sat 72-75 mph. The arm works loose, getting full exertion on the backend, coming through from a ¾ slot. Pairing both pitches well off each other, Langin was able to create unbalanced at-bats with late swings.
