Square stance, short balanced stride, stays connected in load and stride, short to contact, clean bat path, consistent hard contact with middle/pull approach. 83 mph exit velocity. Good balance and fluid movements behind plate. Solid receiver. Fast twitch actions. Occasional hitch in exchange/release. Quick arm path. Above avg. carry and accuracy to bag. 2.03 pop time with 76 mph arm strength. Will make significant jump into 2017 rankings.
9-15-2018: Strong bodied catcher with quick release, average arm strength with good carry. Held his own in the batter’s box.
