On the infield, smooth pre swing rhythm, quick leg kick, short stride, gap to gap line drives, body stays under control during swing.  On the infield, 71 mph positional velocity, over the top release, mostly accurate throws, aggressive to the ball, fields ball in position ready to throw, soft hands with quick transfer. On the mound, Welborn has a high three quarters release, works with some effort down the mound, deception in tempo, long arm circle, in line down the mound, fastball at 72-76 mph, works mostly arm side, 1-to-7 breaking ball, mostly down in zone, change has slight arm side run, near fastball arm speed, 67-68 mph.
