Defense: 1.95-2.05 pop times. Clean footwork and glove, quick exchange, staying low through throws. Behind the plate, quiet setup with blocking and receiving ability. Quick footwork and accurate throws to second.
Run: 7.50 runner in the 60.
Alex Wittenauer: C/3B, (2022) Westminster Christian Academy, MO. 6-foot, 165-pound slim frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 84 mph. Begins in a crouched stance with a big load, then uses a long stride to start his swing. Had rotational swing plane, above average bat speed and a back foot finish. Found some barrels during his round. Pull side approach. He was quick and efficient behind the plate, producing pop times of 1.94-2.07, in the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph.
