With a strong lower half, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Beckmann delivered fastballs in the 72-74 mph range, topping at 75-mph with cut action. With his body type, we expect to see an increase in velocity over the next few years. His breaking ball had 2-to-8 shape, with late movement and thrown on the inner half of the plate. He also threw a 67-70 mph change up with some sink action.
