Short is a 6-foot-1 215-pound left-handed hitting catcher, right-handed pitcher and infielder in Missouri's 2021 class. He ran a 7.82 60 and posted an exit velocity of 94 mph. During batting practice, Short starts slightly opened, simple load, quiet with hands, in line stride, some lift to swing, quick bat, shows barrel control.
