Drew Meyers: RHP/OF, (2022) St. Dominic, MO. 6-foot-1, 160-pound lanky frame. In the box, Meyers recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Started in a crouched stance with a small load, then used a small leg kick before his swing. Bat speed is efficient, shows level swing plane and high finish. Barreled up some balls during the round. Line drive approach. When throwing from the outfield, he showed off his strong arm with throws at velocities of 92 mph;has sure hands, a clean exchange and consistent feet. Used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.07. On the mound, showing some arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a short arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed low balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Changeup (68-70 mph), slider (70-70 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 79-81 mph with a max of 83 mph; command the zone and some action. He had gradual action on his curveball (66-66).
Meyers is a 6-foot 150pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri's 2022 class. He ran a 7.20 60 and has a 77 mph exit velocity. At the plate, closed set up, shifts weight to back side to load, quick bat speed, swing produced gap to gap line drives during hitting evals. In the outfield, high three quarters arm slot, plays through the catch with momentum from footwork, fluid footwork and exchange, 77 mph positional velocity.
