Gavin Miller: 2B/OF, (2025) Staley, MO. 5-foot, 110-pound slim frame. During batting practice, Miller recorded an exit velocity of 60 mph. Starts in a tall stance with a low load, then uses a leg kick before his swing. Bat speed is some, shows level swing plane and high finish. Barreled up a few balls during his round. Up the middle approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 62 mph; showed firm hands, choppy feet and a developing exchange. Used a high ¾ slot and a long arm action. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 8.53. On the mound, showing some arm speed he had an over-the-top arm angle with a long arm action. Slow-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed low balance point and even shoulders. Has an upright finish. Threw his fastball 63-64 mph; keeps its plane. He shows some action on his curveball (54-55). Changeup (58-59) shows some fade and accuracy.
