Jack Mosh: SS/3B, (2022) St. Pius X, MO. 5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Mosh had a max exit velocity of 86 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a big load, then used a toe tap to start his swing. Bat speed was explosive, showed simple swing plane and high finish. He Barreled up lots of balls with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 73 mph; has smooth feet, soft hands and a quick exchange. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.06.
Mosh is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound, left-handed hitting middle infielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2022 class. He ran a 7.00 second 60 and 5.45 home-to-first. At the plate, Mosh posted an exit velocity of 85 mph, starts open with stance, reverse toe tap, in line stride, high finish with hands, looks to lift at the plate, primarily fly ball contact to right field during round. Defensively, showed some athleticism, fluid footwork, momentum towards target, quick arm, clean exchanges, mostly accurate throws across the diamond with a positional velo topping at 80 mph. On the mound, Mosh has an athletic delivery, explosive lower half, hides the ball well, quick arm, high three-quarter release, gains momentum down the mound, generates downhill tilt with delivery, showed an effective mix of fastball and curveball during game action. Fastball is 77-80 mph, arm side run, curveball is 68-70 mph, late downward action, near fastball arm speed, thrown for a high percentage of strikes, changeup is 68-69 mph.
