INF/RHP Jackson Whitaker (Odessa, 2027) had a strong showing on both sides of the ball in Tuesday’s look. The 5-foot-10, 155-pound righty used a short, repeatable stroke that worked back through the middle of the field in BP, reaching 89.9 mph on his firmest ball. His arm showed on the infield where he posted the top mark of the day with a 82 mph bullet. Whitaker then hopped on the mound, where he ran his fastball up to 80 mph, commanding a curveball/changeup mix to pair.
