On the mound, Zahn works with an over-the-top release, controlled rhythm, arm works, regular effort, slightly across body, fastball at 74-77 mph, slight run, curveball with 2-to-8 action at 62-65 mph, has deception in tempo and direction.

2/21/15 - Zahn is a 5-foot-11 145-pound left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2016 class from Logan-Rogersville HS.  Zahn has slight run to fastball, sitting 75-79 mph, touching 80 and 81 on last two pitches of bullpen, fastball showed slight run, 2-to-8 shaped curveball, 68-69 mph, throws for a strike, throws with some effort, hides ball well, throws with some deception in tempo and direction, athletic finish.
