Kandon Sheley: C/SS, (2021) Kearney, MO. 5-foot-10, 150-pound lean frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 76 mph. Started in a tall stance with a tight load, then used a small leg kick before his swing. Has an inside-out swing plane, average bat speed and level finish. Through the round he found some barrels. Opposite field approach. Behind the plate, displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.95-2.01 pop time, he produced a position velocity of 74 mph during throw downs; has a clean exchange, quick feet and sure hands. Narrow setup with some flexibility. Showed an-over-the-top slot and a short arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.3.
