Length to contact with a level bat path, line drive approach. Sent his furthest batted ball 351 ft. in BP this winter at 93.1 mph. Showed whippy arm strength from the outfield, topping at 86 mph on his hardest throw home.

Hit: RHH. Starts with a neutral stance and slightly crouched posture with hands getting set at shoulder height. Rocking load into the lower half. Utilizes a quick two tap stride working to a wide base. Lower half works rotationally through the zone into a firm front leg. Heavy arm bar posture with the lead arm working straight back. Hands work linearly through the zone and work hard to the inside part of the ball. Quick hands through the zone and shows good overall bat speed. Strong rotational acceleration metrics getting the barrel moving quickly deeper into the swing.

Maddox Meier: OF/2B, (2023) Saint Charles, MO. 5-foot-8, 145-pound solid frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 84 mph. Starts in an open stance with a small load, then uses a leg kick just before his swing. Had rotational swing plane, average bat speed and high finish. Found some barrels in his rounds. Pull side approach. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 75 mph; has a fluid exchange and soft hands. Had a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.13 in the 60-yard dash.
