He ran a 7.60 second 60, 4.57 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 80 mph. During hitting evaluations, Oxford showed line drive contact to the gaps, starts in a narrow stance, abbreviated leg lift to load, produces some rhythm with hands, slightly closed off stride, repeatable swing. Defensively, Oxford is aggressive to the baseball, clean transfers, long clean arm action, fluid footwork, three-quarter release, positional velocity of 69 mph, fairly accurate throws. On the mound, smooth delivery with rhythm, works a quicker tempo, repeats, clean arm action, three-quarter release, deceptive, kept hitters off balance during game action with a fastball / curveball mix.
