Hanks has a high-three quarters release, controlled delivery, repeats release point, fastball at 74-78 mph, works both side of the plate, dropped arm slot on some pitches, fastball has late run, curveball has 2-to-8 shape, with late action, shows to be a good pitch as he develops, change up with arm side run at 68-71 mph, long-limbed frame and loose arm action, will continue to add velo and movement as he continues to develop.

2/14/16 - Hanks is a left-handed pitcher in the Missouri class of 2018 that attends Ozark HS in Ozark. Thin, athletic 6-foot-1, 155-pound frame. Delivery with rhythm working to tall balance point, three-quarters arm slot, loose. Fastball runs arm-side mostly, 78-80 mph. Showed feel for glove-side fastball with cutting action, good pitch. Breaking ball with 2/8 spin, controllable pitch, 67-70 mph. Change-up with near fastball arm-speed, 72-73 mph, keeps it down. Left-handed pitcher in the Missouri class of 2018 to follow.
