10/13/24
Sunday’s look gave us another strong performance from OF Xander Paul (Staley, 2026). A 5-foot-11, 156-pound all around athlete, Paul has plenty of room to add size and strength to his frame. The junior saw jumps in his metrics at the plate since our last look in June, squaring his best ball up at 91.1 mph and posting an event-leading 85.9 mph average per batted ball; spraying line drives to all fields throughout his round. Defensively, Paul showed off his arm strength from the outfield, posting a 85 mph mark on his firmest throw with the ability to cover ground with ease thanks to an event-best 6.79 60 time.

OF Xander Paul (Staley, 2026) showed loud tools on both sides of the ball in Tuesday’s look. In BP, the 5-foot-11, 155-pound junior sprayed line drives to all fields, swinging an easy, inside-out left-handed barrel that created natural loft, flashing juice at times. Paul was also among the event leaders in the 60 (6.79) and outfield velocity (85 mph)
