Begins in wide stance, has a quick load and uses a short stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits an upward swing plane and a level finish. Path showed a line drive approach. Used a short arm action and a high ¾ slot. He clocked a time of 7.9 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, he threw his fastball 75-78 mph. He consistenly threw his curveball 65-68 mph with movement.
