Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a short stride. Short simple swing plane. Found some barrels in his rounds. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; has next Level hands, smooth feet and a quick exchange. Has a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.35.
Southaven, 2021, 5’ 11” 155lb, SS/3B Working with an athletic frame the right-handed hitter displayed a very polished and repeatable swing with an exit velocity of 81 mph. On defense, Johnson registered his best throw across the diamond at 75 mph and also had sure hands and quick feet with the ability to round balls well. Ran a 7.19 60 and should get faster.
