Gage Haley: RHP/1B, (2023) Lewisburg, MS. 6-foot-5, 225-pound physical frame. During batting practice, Haley had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick to initiate his swing. Had upward swing plane, above average bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 70 mph; has sure hands and athletic feet. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 8.74. On the mound, where he showed good arm speed, he had a long arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Has consistent balance point and even shoulders. Lands square. Threw his fastball 78-80 mph. Changeup (70-72 mph).He showed a 11/5 curveball (67-69).
