Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Had simple swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 74 mph; showed sure hands, athletic feet and a clean exchange. Has an-over-the-top slot. Clocked a time of 7.29 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, used a loose arm action and an over-the-top arm angle while showing above average arm speed. Uses some effort in his delivery. Has athletic balance point with even shoulders. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-84 mph with a max of 84 mph. Curveball (70-72 mph), changeup (76-77 mph).
