Ryan Davis: OF/RHP, (2021) Homeschool, MS. 6-foot, 180-pound sturdy frame. At the plate, Davis 90 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick to initiate his swing. Bat speed was explosive, and he had high finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact . Gap to gap approach. Above average in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 82 mph; had soft hands, a clean exchange and smooth footwork. In the outfield, clean exchange. Had an-over-the-top slot with a quick arm action. Recorded a time of 7.56 in the 60-yard dash.
10/15/17 A 6-foot, 160-pound frame with room for continued growth. Right-handed hitter with a tall balanced setup, simple load, looseness in hands, short stride and good lower half use. Quick hand with level path working slightly uphill through the finish, line-drive approach with developing rhythm, recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. As outfielder, plays through the ball with athleticism, creating momentum with short, deliberate footwork and clean exchanges. Medium arm stroke into high ¾ release with accuracy and carry on throws, posted a positional velocity of 83 mph. Ran a 7.4 60-yard dash. On the mound the right-handed pitcher throws from a medium arm stroke into high-3/4 release and regular effort in delivery. Showed quickness in arm for age with a drop-and-drive type delivery, level shoulders, landing in-line working around front side, finishing slightly off to first base side. Fastball was 80-81 mph with straight action. Breaking ball was thrown at 68 mph showing early action and 11/5 shape.
