Triston Hickman: C/3B, (2021) Stone High School, MS. 6-foot, 200-pound solid frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Began in an open wide stance, had a quick load and used a short stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a flat swing plane and quick bat speed, and he ended his swing with extension on his finish. His strong arm produced efficient throws to second at velocities up to 76 mph. While catching, displayed his ability to control the run game with a pop time of 1.97-2.06. Laterally, his movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.09.
Triston Hickman: Stone High School High School, Class of 2021; 5-foot-11, 200-pound solid frame; C/3B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. Begins in athletic stance with a wrapping load, then uses a toe tap to start his swing. Exhibits quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. He made strong, efficient throws to second at velocities up to 80 mph; showed quick footwork, twitchy hands and a quick exchange. Behind the plate, he showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.69-2.00; Showed a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. He clocked a time of 7.35 in the 60-yard dash.
