This was our first look at Sloan and it didn’t disappoint. The 6-foot-0, 210-pound RHP has a loose arm from a high ¾ slot and the ability to command a 3-pitch mix. The fastball sat 84-86 mph at the Bucks/Jets Scout Day, although he has been up to 90 mph this fall. The curveball, arguably his best pitch, has two-plane break and profiles as a big swing & miss pitch. Although we didn’t see much of the changeup, he does a good job killing spin and vertical break on it, throwing it at 76-77 mph. The uncommitted 2025 and Montana native, is an arm that will open some eyes when the spring season rolls around.
