5-foot-10, 150-pound lean projectable build. Solid during batting practice, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 77 mph. (59.3 mph bat speed average). (18.3 mph hand speed average). Starts in a crouched athletic stance with a compact controlled load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick efficient, exhibits a short simple swing plane and high balanced finish. Through the round he found lots of barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Smooth in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 81 mph; has athletic aggressive feet, consistent hands, and a natural fluid exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a longer quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.76. On the mound, used a short quick arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive up-tempo type pitcher and uses decent effort. Balance point is tall with even shoulders during delivery. Lands open with a clean finish. Changeup (74-74 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 77-79 mph; had deceiving late action and command around the zone with heavy movement. (Max spin 2197; Avg 2078). His 11/5 curveball (66-67) has some command and some late action. (Max spin 2128; Avg 2072).
