Hit: RHH
Arm: RH.
ATH: 20.70 max vertical.
Physical: Sturdy 5-foot-9, 175lb frame with noticeable power in the movements. 7.75 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, low-pulse stance with the hands starting lower and relaxed on the shoulder. Utilized a quick up/down leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat, controlled path into the hitting zone. The arms liked to get involved at the point of attack, working naturally towards extension in the middle of the field. Displayed a solid base at the plate, able to connect to the ground with an 84 mph bat-exit velocity and advantageous 44% fly ball rate. Molding into a developing power hitter’s approach and up to a 300+ foot batted ball distance (304 ft).
Defensively: The third baseman approached with trusted footwork, beating the ball to the spot with a soft glove hand that played tall on the ground. Sat into the base and maintained posture on the backside-drive move towards the target. Recorded an 80 mph arm strength from a whippy H ¾ release that could manipulate angle; accurate throws to the bag.
Pitching: RHP - The primary righty started off the left side of the rubber from the stretch-only. Showcased a fast leg-lift with some hip-coil up around chest-height, utilizing a sudden, hitchy takeaway with some deception to it (H ¾ slot). Good extension down the slope and blocked off the front-side athletically. Pounded arm-side with heaviness at 82-84, T85 mph, mixing in a well-placed low-70’s CB (-7 inches IVB, 15 inches HM) as the out-pitch. Turned to a seasoned 75-76 mph fading CH that killed spin (1297rpms AVG) and could ultimately end up being his best offering.
