The pitchability was on full display for Williams on Sunday morning as he tossed a gem to help his team advance in bracket play. As he struck out 14 with only 2 hits and an earned run in a complete-game on 108 pitches. An athletic mover on the mound at 5-foot-10,182-pounds with present strength in the lower half and creates easy drive down the mound. Works from a high three-quarters slot with repeatability and intent with each pitch. Williams possesses a bulldog mentality and pitches with a competitive moxie as he controls the tempo and attacks in-the-zone with excellent command of the three pitch mix. Fastball showed quality carry through the zone at 81-85 and got swing-and-miss when elevated. Slider is sharp at 72-75 with variance in shape for whiffs out of the same tunnel. Changeup used sparingly at 76 with depth and tumble and feel to land R/R. Pitchability is present with some projection remaining throughout and Williams never ceases to bring the energy.
