East Carolina Commit. Large frame with broad shoulders and a strong lower half at 6-feet-2, 185 pounds. Clean delivery with deception and a quick arm. Repeats the delivery. Average leg kick creates some torque in the hips. Average stride, on-line, landing with the toe closed. Falls to the 1B side slightly on his finish. Quick arm with a strong arm swing to a high-3/4 slot. Pounded the zone with a fastball at 87-88. Throws both slider and curveball. Hard, sharp slider works with big tilt from a quick hand, sitting 76-77. Downer breaking ball is around the zone, but looked to be more of a chase pitch in this bullpen, ranging 71-72. Change-up comes from a similar window as fastball, creating fade to the arm side, at 71-72.
