Arm works methodical with an elongated arm swing, with extension at the bottom, to a high-3/4 slot. Lacks lower half engagement at times and is rotational to finish. Arm strength over arm speed produces a fastball ranging 85-86 and touching 88. Fastball produced swing and miss, jumping on hitters. Control over command, as expected in an early season outing. Curveball has 1/7 tilt, plays hard, with early action at times. High ceiling on the pitch as it matures. Lacked command of the pitch on this day.
