Big frame with a strong lower half at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Ran a 7.03 sixty. Good athlete that is raw and should continue to improve with age and reps. Long arm action, with a slight stab at the bottom, gets to an over-the-top slot showing carry with arm speeds measuring 82 mph from the OF and 79 from the INF. In the OF, works with two hands through the ball, catching it deep, and cautious on the exchange. Offensively there is strength. Vertical bat is rushed through his timing and load. Creates better than average bat speed with uphill leverage, working to stay in the middle of the field. Exit velocity topped at 81 mph.
Fastball ranged 76-79, erratic around the zone. The breaking ball and changeup are both works in progress as the hand speed does not match all the time. Curveball is short and gradual at 64-69. The change ranged 64-68. Both pitches were consistently down in the zone. The delivery is a little stiff as the arm reaches straight back at the shoulder line before working to a high-¾ slot. The front side tends to be early, creating some effort in the arm and head.
