5/20/18- Nebraska Elite 50
5-foot-8, 175 pound outfielder ran a 6.53 60 yard sprint. Athletic compact frame. Raw pop in bat, gap to gap approach, stiffness in hands, linear barrel path. Posted an 81 mph exit velocity off a tee. In the outfield, average feel, arm action has some funk, topped out at 77 mph with lack of accuracy and carry. Went 0-4 in his plate appearances during the game portion. Posted a .453 batting average this spring at the varsity level. Strong follow as he continues to develop mechanically.
2/19/18- 5-foot-8, 160 pound second baseman ran a 3.89 H-1B. Compact athletic build. Open stance, controlled step initiates whipping barrel through the zone. Pull side approach, had one of the better round of BP on the day. Posted an 82 mph exit velocity. Okay actions in the infield, work down and up through the ball. Topped out at 73 mph across the infield. Strong follow for the 2021 class in Nebraska as he continues to develop.
