2018 NJCAA World Series: Big and physical, great frame for adding muscle, could carry 20 more pounds easy. Clean delivery, repeatable, easy to see more future velo. FB 90-94, with no drop in velo for 6 innings. Good down angle, pounded the zone. CB 79-82, slurvy shape to it. Able to throw it consistently for strikes. Didn't use a CH in the outing I saw. Not hard to see him going in the top 5 rounds of the draft.

5/14/18: Long limbed frame with wider shoulders and narrow waist. Has above average athleticism and body control on mound. Delivers from 3/4 slot with clean arm action and has extension out front to plate. Shows fastball command to his glove-side at 91-93 mph; touching numerous 94's and an occasional 95. Impressive in ability to hold velocity with thinner frame; actually began to throw harder the deeper he was into his pitch count. 95 mph fastball recorded on his 101st pitch of game and every fastball between 101-122 were 92-94. Lacked feel for slider early in game; in 4th inning began to land more consistently for strikes; and as game progressed showed more conviction and ability to show in zone and take away from both left and right-handed hitters. Slider has 10/4 shape with occasional sharp 2-plane break at 80-83 mph. 11-0 record on season pitching 68 innings, allowing 25 hits, 8 earned runs, 114 strikeouts, 18 walks, with 1.06 ERA. Signed to attend Tulane.
