5-foot-5,, 120-pound right-handed hitting catcher.  Young catcher, who grinded it out at the event, as he loves to play. Threw 61 mph down to second base during the defensive portion of the workout. Pop time of 2.31 during the workout as well. The receiving is coming along well from the winter, he moves well and has soft hands back there. Ran a 5.3 down the line on his dig to first base. Tee exit velocity of 62 mph ,as the frame needs physical strength added to it.  Hits out of a even footed start, closed off set up. Steps into the swing and needs to finish all the way through contact and not cut his swing off. Physical maturation and time spent in the weight room will aid his development.

5-foot-5, 120-pound right-handed hitting catcher and infielder. Worked out behind the plate, showing a great deal of promise in his catching. Threw 61 mph from behind the dish. The glove is solid and he can receive very well at his age, does a nice job securing the catch. Pop time of 2.4. Ran a 8.6 sixty at the event, that will improve as he matures. The bat has a tee exit velo of 64 mph. The swing is solid and he stays in his legs throughout the swing. The only issue I see, is he hits with his feet even and the front foot is closed off. Needs to be a bit more event with his feet so he can use his hips and not lock himself off at contact. Good looking younger player.
