(66.6 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a small load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed is developing, uses an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. While catching, he recorded a position velocity of 75 mph during throw downs; had a clean natural transfer, developing athletic footwork, and soft sure hands. He had a pop time of 2.01-2.05. Athletic setup. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.1 at the event. (Max spin ; Avg ).
