Had a very good day at Franklin Pierce last week as he lashed some balls during the game and looked good doing it. The bat has a chance to be very advanced. Tee exit velocity of 83 mph. Hits out of a even stance, the swing is rotational, with a long and strong path to the ball. Showed the ability to spread the ball around the field in batting practice. Pop time of 2.09 and he threw 70 mph down to second. A big dude, getting his transfer and feet on time will come with time. Ran a 4.76 down the line on a dig to first base.  Like his chances to be an offensive catcher as he matures.

Right-handed hitting catcher who showed a very good skill set at the event. The frame is outstanding, as he 6-foot, 185-pounds with room to grow. Threw 71 mph from behind the dish and had a pop time of 2.19. The transfer is simple and feet work. He can work through the ball a bit more. The arm slot works and should mature very nicely. At the plate, had a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. The set up is slightly wide and the bat is flat through the zone, should lead to very good plate coverage. There is effort in the swing, with physical strength he should be able to maneuver the barrel with less effort. He looks the part and is athletic.
