Even and balanced stance, starts with his hands up and bat angle down. Gradual load, moves down and back, while bringing the back elbow to parallel. Strong lower half, easy gap-to-gap pop. Ball jumps off the bat. In the infield, has a quick transfer, brings the ball to his chest and gathers himself with a shuffle. Top positional velocity of 89 MPH. On the mound, D’Ambrosio sets up in a modified stretch position on the first base side of the rubber. Consistent rhythm and tempo. Feet stay in line down the mound with uphill shoulder tilt. Long, loose arm. High ¾ slot, almost over-the-top. FB had some downhill angle at 85-86 MPH, touching 87 MPH. Breaker had 11/5 shape, sat 74-75 MPH. CH was plus at times with sink and run at 75-77 MPH.

At the dish, he starts in an even and balanced stance, with his hands up near his head and elbow up. Minimal load, down and back movement with his upper half. Hands stay inside the ball, creating line drives to all fields. Advanced, middle-away approach. In the infield, stays low and athletic in his approach to the ball, although standing tall when making throws. Worked through the backhand with ease, top infield velocity of 86 MPH. On the rubber, D’Ambrosio worked out of a modified stretch position. Compact delivery, maintains his stride direction. Hands work in sync with his lower half. Slight uphill shoulder tilt. Fastball sat at 81-83 MPH, located to both sides of the plate. Curveball had 12/6 shape with a tendency to back up on him at 70-71 MPH. Straight CH with intent at 70-75 MPH.

Has upward swing plane and has good extension on his finish. Line drive approach. Dambrosio showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 90 mph. While in the infield, made throws up to 81 mph; shows a clean exchange, soft hands and athletic feet. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action. Used easy effort in his delivery. Displays even shoulders and athletic balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-78 mph and topped out at 79 mph; showed arm side control and running action. Had late action and glove side command on his 11/5 curveball (64-68).
