Eltaki stands at 6-foot, 200-pounds. Has a real strong and physical build. Athletic legs as he starts his windup, keeps some bend in his knees. Gets into his back hip early and rides his lower half down the slope. Lands slightly open at footstrike. Opens the front shoulder early, creates some rotational torque in his upper half. Long, loose, clean arm action with a higher 3/4 slot. Impressive command of the FB down and gloveside, was 85-86 MPH. Slider was 73-76 MPH and had cutter-like tendencies, imitating the FB until some last second cut. CH sat 71-74 MPH, had some depth at times.
Strong and broad-shouldered build at 6-foot, 187-pounds. Starts his windup in the middle of the rubber. Slower, gradual delivery. Gets into his backside early. Creates significant hip/shoulder separation. Works down the rubber with rotational movements. Gets over his front leg. FB thrown for strikes at 83-84 MPH, touching 85 MPH. CB was smaller with late downer action, sat 68-70 MPH. Straight CH at 72-73 MPH.
6-foot, 180lb durable frame;7.55 runner in the 60 yard dash. Wide base with weight pre-loaded on the back leg, keeps the hands rested on the shoulder until the pitch is coming in. Completely shifts weight on his back leg and hitches the hands down and up, then works a high intent swing that slightly works downhill. Creates flush contact and registered an 88 MPH max exit velo. In the outfield, he approaches the ball with aggressive steps and field on his glove side foot. Uses a short arm swing out of the glove and throws from a short, snappy 3/4 slot; registered a 79 MPH arm strength from the outfield.
On the mound, he work a slow, methodical delivery. Hovers out to the front foot and keeps weight loaded on the back side nicely. Gets the foot down and snaps the arm through working very downhill. Uses a short, snappy arm action from a 3/4 slot. Held the fastball at 80-81 MPH with flashes of ASR. Mixes in a curveball and change up that sit 64-66 MPH and 71-72 MPH, respectively. Both pitches were commanded nicely in all parts of the zone, but the curveball proves to be a quality out pitch.
