Austin stands in at 6-foot-0 and 195 pounds. The RHP features broad shoulders with a strong lower half. Pitching- Austin uses a compact side step with a leg drive slightly above the belt and a slight coil at his peak balance point position. Features a long arm action that works through a low 3/4 slot with some sling. Some length to his stride with a heel landing. Throws "around" his body with a soft front knee creating some late whip and arm side action to his FB that was 73-75 MPH. Showed arm side action with both FB and change up (63-65 MPH). Featured a split at 60-61 MPH that doesn't fit Austin's mold (low slot, little downhill action in delivery) but works for him. Good feel for repeating his delivery and could be a tough arm to face with the angles and movement that he creates.
