Physical- Athletic, projectable 6-foot, 180lbs build. 7.67 runner in the 60.
Offensively- Starts tall and slightly open with a wide base. Bat is rested above his back shoulder before the hands load back along with a small stride for timing. Quick hands and solid use of the lower half help generate above average bat speeds from the right side. Barrel works slightly uphill through the hitting zone, helping to generate a majority of line drives in his BP round. Consistency in the box leads to repeated hard contact, max exit velo of 94 MPH.
Defensively- One-knee receiver with the left knee down, able to match the plane of the incoming pitch and present the pitch well. Gets wide in traditional catchers stance when throwing, uses his strong lower half and quick feet to get out of the crouch and get the ball down to his target as quickly as possible. 78 MPH arm strength from the crouch, 2.01-2.16 pop time.
