2019 Preseason All State showcase
Sodano has a lanky and athletic frame at 6-foot, 178-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.58 seconds and recorded an exit velo of 87 MPH. Starts in a wide and athletic stance at the plate. Hands move directly backwards during his load with a slight bat wrap. Back elbow gets to parallel. Normal stride. Smooth weight transfer. Kept a solid middle approach during his round, driving balls up the middle and into the gaps. In the outfield recorded a top velo of 83 MPH on his throws. Used a shuffle and a small hop before making throws. Feet slightly open when in a thrown position. In the infield, fields the ball out in front. Makes his transfer by midsection height. Throws were accurate from different arm angles.
