Correale is lean and athletic at 5-foot-11, 155-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.53 seconds, top exit velo of 88 MPH. Tall and open stance at the plate, with his weight shifted onto his back hip. Late hand movement back in his load. Creates extension in his back leg. Simple swing, line drive approach with ability to work to all fields. Top positional velo of 73 MPH. On the mound, Correale worked exclusively from the stretch. Feet are open, back leg slightly preset. Both halves work in sync. Quick, up-tempo. Bigger leg kick, shorter stride. Long/loose arm action. Filled the zone. FB worked at 79-82 MPH with some life. SL showed tight shape with lateral break at 69-70 MPH.
Lean/athletic build, standing at 5-foot-11, 155-pounds. Starts his windup right in the middle of the rubber with his feet together. Both halves work in sync. Keeps the backside firm. Uphill shoulder tilt down the mound. Later hand break helps create some deception. Higher slot leads to some downhill angle on the FB, which was 81-82 MPH. SL was a sweeper at 70-71 MPH. Displayed a CH as well, which was 69-70 MPH.
Correale has an athletic build at 5-foot-11 155-pounds with room to fill out. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds and recorded an exit velocity that topped at 87 mph. Offensively, starts in a tall, opened stance with hands just above back shoulder and bat perpendicular to the ground. Uses a knee-knock stride to start swing and hands load down and back. Creates some extension through the zone on finish. Defensively, took reps at 1B. Throws across the infield topped at 76 mph. Footwork is consistent, exchange is clean. Able to use different arm actions based on the type of throw. Short, compact arm action on double play feeds and longer arm action on longer throws.
On the mound, fastball topped at 79 mph and sat mostly 77-79 mph in his bullpen. Flashed a curveball at 67-68 and a changeup at 71-73. Easy, repeatable mechanics into a tall balance point. Over-the-top arm action with some arm side fade on the fastball.
