5-foot-10, 150lb lean frame; 7.54 runner in the 60 yard dash. At the plate, King uses a fairly straight up, narrow stance with minimal bend in the knee. Internally rotates the back foot to gain some load in the back hip and create a spring type movement when he gets the front foot down. Works a downhill swing in a bottom hand dominant swing with good barrel whip though the zone. Barreled the ball up routinely on his way to posting an 86 MPH max exit velo. From the infield, King takes clean, direct routes to the ball and uses his athletic lower half from there. Gets in a good direction to the target and fields with a soft glove that funnels to the belt. Throws from a 3/4 slot and registered a 79 MPH arm strength across the infield.
King has a lean and athletic build at 5-foot-10, 150-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.39 seconds, with a top exit velocity of 88 MPH. Left handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance while staying upright. Gets into a more athletic spot with an aggressive, downwards load. Creates extension in his back leg. Hands have a slight movement directly backwards. Consistently firm contact, solid round. In the infield, uses short and choppy steps in his approach to the ball. Fields out front and funnels by his midsection, top infield velo of 84 MPH. On the bump, King stays tall throughout, getting over his front side. Minimal bend in the back leg, maintains even shoulder tilt. Easy delivery, remains effortless. Fastball sat 79-80 MPH, touching 81 MPH. Curveball had depth at the bottom of the zone at 66-69 MPH. Changeup with some run at 72-73 MPH.
