Stony Brook recruit. Giordano has a lean, athletic frame at 5-foot-11 170-pounds. Sets up in a tall, neutral stance with relaxed hands and arms above back shoulder. As pitch comes in, hands load fluidly back and up while using a leg lift. Powerful hips and quick hands through the zone produce gap to gap power. Homered to deep left center field on this day.
9/26/15 -- Giordano has smooth actions and athleticism with the glove. He has repeatable hand break and consistently finds a good hand break. He throws with arm strength across the diamond. At the plate, he shows bat speed and good hand path. He has good strike zone recognition for a player of his age.
