Uses a simple, pick-up-put-down with the front heel to initiate the swing. Slams the heel down and works into a downhill swing that induces quality backspin. Posted an 88 MPH max exit velo in his round of BP. In the infield, Tallent moves well to his left and right sides. Fields out in front with a soft glove that exchanges smoothly with not hitches. Tallent throws from a 3/4 slot with looseness in the actions.
5-foot-10, 155-pound lean frame. In the box, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 88 mph. Started in a crouched, wide stance with a quick load, then used a short stride before his swing. Displayed an uphill swing plane and quick bat speed, and he ended his swing with extension on his finish. Pull side approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 78 mph. Used a high ¾ slot with short arm action. He recorded a 60 time of 7.98 at the event.
