6-foot, 172-pound athletic frame. Clocked a 60 time of 7.02 at the event. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth small load, then uses a short stride to start his swing. Bat speed is quick, exhibits short flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. He Barreled up a couple of balls during the round. Line drive approach. Ruchser showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 89 mph. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 77 mph; has athletic smooth feet, a quick fluid exchange and sure hands. Had a high ¾ slot with a compact arm action. On the mound, used a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Balance is tall point with even shoulders in his delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 72-75 mph and topped out at 76 mph; had tailing action and arm side control. Threw a 10/4 curveball (60-61) with gradual action.
