Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Lifts hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a downward swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying low during receiving. Hands are firm while staying low during transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high/over the top arm slot. 1.99-2.18 pop times. C - 75 MPH.

Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying in an elevated position. Hands work through the ball with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.04-2.10 pop times. C - 74 MPH. Registered above average catcher velos and pop times. Very quick take back into lots of on the money throws down to second.
Diaco has a lanky and athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 140-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.54 seconds and recorded a top exit velo of 81 MPH. Starts tall at the plate with his feet open and front knee bent. Hands are by his shoulder, move up and back during his load. Big, long stride brings him into a wider and more athletic stance. Aggressive lower half, hips clear through the zone. Strong contact towards the middle of the field. Behind the plate, recorded a top velo of 73 MPH and pop times ranging from 2.28-2.33 seconds. Makes his transfer away from his body, where he receives the ball. Feet stay in line with his target. Short, compact arm action.
