Lombardo has a5-foot-10, 165-pound lean, athletic frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. Starts with a small load. Showed rapid bat speed, as well as a flat swing plane and a level finish. Present power at the plate. Batting practice showed the ball jumping off his bat. In the outfield, he used momentum and arm strength to record throws up to 89 mph. Had a loose arm action with accuracy to the base. His 6.87 60 yard dash time was one of the top times of the event.
2019 Preseason All State Showcase
Lombardo has a strong and athletic build at 5-foot-10, 165-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.00 seconds. Starts tall at the plate in an open stance. Gets into a wide and athletic stance at footstrike. Elbow stays parallel to the ground. Swings with controlled aggression. Shows pull side power potential. Hands stay inside the ball. Took defensive reps from the outfield and recorded a top velo of 92 MPH on his throws. Stays under control as he approaches the ball, but is able to create momentum towards his target after fielding the ball. Made strong throws from a high 3/4 arm slot.
