Physical- Athletic, projectable, 6-foot-3, 195lbs frame. 6.95 runner in the 60.
Offensively- Starts tall and open with both feet pointed inward, hands just above shoulder level. Uses a small stride while loading the hands down and back into a strong position. Hands fire in sync with the foot plant, uses a flat barrel with a slightly uphill swing plane, good extension through the point of contact. 97 MPH max exit velo.
Defensively- Starts upright and uses short, controlled steps on approach, letting the ball get to him. Consistently fields the ball outside his glove side foot before a quick shuffle towards his target helping him gain momentum before releasing. Uses a moderate arm swing and an over the top slot, 90 MPH arm from the OF with good carry on his throws.
Pitching- Starts on the first base side of the rubber, uses a short side step before getting into a leg lift to the waist, hands set near the ears. Dips and drives off his back leg and stays over his front side well, landing on a firm front leg. Creates quality hip/shoulder separation in his motion, helping to create some velocity. Short, stabby arm circle with an over the top arm slot.
